Unidentified Discodorid #20
Maximum size:  4-5  mm.

Identification:  This is a cream dorid with small, closely-spaced tubercles that are somewhat irregular in size. The notum is flecked with brown and opaque-white pigment circles the larger tubercles. The branchia are greenish-brown and the rhinophores are brown with cream tips.

Natural history:  Unidentified discodorid #20 is known from one animal (probably juvenile) found in a tide pool.

Distribution:  Big Island.

Taxonomic notes:  Perhaps, this is a Carminodoris? It was first recorded in Hawaii from Holoholokai Beach, Big Island by Alison Young on Dec. 18, 2024. (Note 1)

Observations and comments:

Note 1: It's possible that this animal is a juvenile of one of the other listed species. But, there doesn't seem to be an obvious match...
