Margovula(?) sp. #1
Maximum size: < 3 mm.
Identification:
This is a very small species that appears to have a transparent shell with a profile similar to Morgovula.
The mantle has prominent, white tubercles and brown patches.
Natural history: Morgovula sp. #1 is known from one animal found on algal turf at a moderately protected site at about 7 m (23 ft).
Distribution: Oahu.
Taxonomic notes:
The ID of this species is very tentative. It was first recorded in
Hawaii from Pupukea, Oahu by Damaris Torres-Pulliza and Roney Rodrigues
on Sept., 2022.
